oil a rude awakening
you see on the news countless people bickering about the price of gas. as well they should. but we all new thia time was coming sooner or later and we all should have done something before it happened. Washington, wall street and the consumer should have woke up years ago. america runs on oil and OPEC knows that. washington should have had been giving ensintives to companies making hybrid semis years ago and eliminated diesel trucks all together . some might say ther was no funding for that. well we could have done that instead of invading Iraq twice and the afghan war (billion+) and the auto companies should of been working on the hybrid cars of today 20 years ago.the cosumer is to blame as well. they would not poke the hybrid 20 years ago with a 10foot poll. and now the day of reckoning is upon us http://costofwar.com/en/

It is no secret that Osama bin Laden was hiding in plain sight in various locales in Pakistan for the past decade. While some have argued that this operation should be spun as having been conducted by Pakistani forces or disgruntled al Qaeda members would have let the Pakistani army off the hook from answering the difficult questions it must now face. Instead, this operation has sent a clear reminder to the many porous and poorly governed states that serve as safe havens for terrorist and criminal fugitives that others will extend the law into their territories if they fail to do so themselves.
